The Development Manager works closely with our leadership team in all areas of fundraising including government contracts, grants, individual donors, major gifts and events. We have grown our philanthropic base significantly in the last few years and there’s so much potential to grow staffing and capacity over time.
This is a full-time salaried position, typically Monday-Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours. The Development Manager reports to the Executive Director.
We seek a Career Development Manager to support our participants in the job readiness, job placement and job retention components of our program. The Manager will coordinate and grow our employer partnership network, and supervise alumni services. The Manager will have strong knowledge of the building trades and experience working in low-income communities. The Career Development Manager must be able to build genuine and strong relationships with a broad base of constituents, from the program participants to employers with available jobs.

The Data Collection & Management VISTA will strengthen systems that are crucial to monitoring, reporting, and evaluating our workforce training program. In the next two years we will more than double the number of people served. The VISTA will get significant experience in data collection and management to strengthen the program’s capacity and meet funding and reporting requirements; as well as have opportunities to improve our systems for successful program outcomes.
