This is a 3-session class that meets on consecutive weeks (the sessions are exactly one week from the previous session at the same time, ex: Saturdays at 10:30am).
January dates: Jan 10, 17, & 24 at 6:30-9:30pm
‘This course is designed for the aspiring DIYer who wants to be comfortable doing their own plumbing work outside the wall.
Day 1: We’ll cover how water flows through your home with a special emphasis on drain maintenance and diagnosing/fixing clogs. Participants will learn how modern drain systems work. We’ll cover drain pitch, internal and external venting, cleanouts and traps.
Day 2 Bathrooms: We’ll get hands on in the workshop. Participants will practice removing and installing a tank type toilet, including supply lines, and installing a vanity, sink faucet, supply lines and drain connections.
Day 3 Kitchens: Participants will practice how to install a kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal. We’ll also cover soldering copper pipe connections.
Our instructor is Dean “Coach” Rennie. Dean has many years of experience training in the construction trades and has a wealth of tips, tricks and helpful advice to share.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
If you can’t make it to a class, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Please email workshops@rebuildingexchange.org with their name and email address.
If Rebuilding Exchange needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 hours before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule.
We do not offer other refunds or transfers between classes.
LATECOMERS
If you arrive to a workshop later than 20 minutes after the stated start time, you will not be able to participate in the workshop.
We do not provide refunds to latecomers.
OTHER POLICIES
All workshops are 18+ unless otherwise specified; no woodworking experience necessary
Materials are included in the fee for the workshop
We are not able to accommodate last minute attendees. If a workshop is sold out, there are no open spots.
