Come try the ultimate upcycle! Make a loom from an old yard sign and use it to turn fabric and yarn scraps into art or home decor.
In this introductory class we’ll cover how to create your own loom by reusing old corrugated plastic yard signs and weave art or household items from a variety of scraps.
Students will start small and learn how to scale up their projects if desired. Each student will learn how to construct a loom from corrugated plastic and string then begin weaving a 6”x8” sampler.
Materials will be provided but students are welcome to bring scraps of yarn or fabric.
