MITI: 3-Week Chess Board CHICAGO

This is a 3-session class that meets on consecutive weeks.

If you liked our cutting board class, you’ll love this one. We’re taking the cutting board to the next level and making one-of-a-kind chess boards from wood with pieces from found objects.

You’ll learn to use the table saw, miter saw and planer along with sanding and hand tools while constructing your board. We’ll cover how to measure and cut to make sure your corners align and your boards are square. You’ll use found objects from the warehouse to create your own unique pieces from metal and/or wood. Your family and friends will be astounded by how talented you are.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

If you can’t make it to a class, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Please email indigo@rebuildingexchange.org with their name and email address.

If Rebuilding Exchange needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 hours before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule.

We do not currently offer other refunds or transfers between classes.

Workshop Policies: Please review policies below before committing to a workshop.

• All workshops are 18+ unless otherwise specified

• If you are unable to attend your one-time workshop, email us 48-hours before the class starts. If you are unable to make your series class, email us one week before the class starts;
• Materials are included in the fee for the workshop

• We are not able to accommodate last minute attendees. If a workshop is sold out, there are no open spots.
