Repurpose old windows and take a painting home with artist Jared Haberman! Jared has been creating beautiful window paintings for years with his stencil and spray paint method and giving old and forgotten windows a second life. In this workshop you will pick an old window, choose a simple stenciled image from one of Jared’s patterns, and use a tape-up method to spray paint your stencil and background. Leave with a beautiful piece of reclaimed art and a new skill!
Jared Haberman is a Chicago resident who graduated from Illinois State University in 2006, with a Bachelor in Arts degree. He expresses his artistic form with various mediums and surfaces. His recent artistic body of work consists of images painted on vintage or old windows. Working with photons, he incorporates vibrant colors to stimulate your neurons and excite your retinas. Jared has had several shows in the Chicago-land area due to the connections the community has with his work.
