Our Program is a 20-week, minimum wage PAID ($15.80/hr) career training program, utilizing hands-on learning to provide job skills and experience in deconstruction, materials handling, warehousing, and customer service. Trainees generally work and learn up to 32 hours per week.
Our graduates have moved into careers such as home repair, painting, HVAC, apprenticeships, construction, manufacturing, and retail.
This program is for people breaking through barriers to employment due to several factors, including former incarceration. Trainees must be at least 18 years old, SNAP-eligible, physically fit, and most importantly, motivated to enter the building trades as skilled members of the workforce.
Our Illinois Works funded pre-apprenticeship program is a 9 week, FREE training to prepare adults for building trades apprenticeships, including unions.
This program is for people interested in training for a career in the building trades. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and be interested in moving into a building trades apprenticeship program or related employment.
